10. NFL 2K1 (Sega Dreamcast): Sega Dreamcast’s popularity was short-lived, but its “cutting-edge” online capabilities paved the way for future consoles. Although it was discontinued in 2001, Dreamcast still featured a gridiron classic in NFL 2K1. While the Madden series now reigns supreme, NFL 2k1, which featured then-Viking Randy Moss on the cover, was ahead of its time in the authentic game play that it offered.
