New Sack City: Defensive end Andre Carter racked up four sacks in the Patriots’ 37-16 victory against the Jets in Week 10, which gave them the AFC East lead and made Tom Brady and Bill Belichick the winningest quarterback/head coach combination in history. Carter’s first sack on third down helped set the tone for New England’s newest defensive wrinkle, which used Carter and Mark Anderson as defensive ends and Vince Wilfork and Brandon Deaderick on the interior to give them a pass-rushing boost.
