Babe Ruth, Wade Boggs, Mark Bellhorn Among Top 10 Red Sox Players Who Became Yankees
Honorable Mention: Red Ruffing. Maybe the Yankees just had better scouts, or maybe they had some kind of tonic that made this righty live up to his potential. After a little over six seasons in Boston, where he went 39-96 with a 4.61 ERA, Ruffing took off in New York. He pitched for another 15 years, racking up a 231-124 record with a 3.47 ERA. He was also in pinstripes for six World Series titles and is now in the Hall of Fame. (AP Photo) |
